any offensive activity. We monitor all activity and provide means to report emails and profiles.
Our users can also block other users for whatever reason them deem necessary.
OpenToDate.com team will ban any suspecious account to our discretion.
Furthermore, all IP Adress are recorded to prevent banned users from registering again.
We have compiled a list of safety tips below. We will add more items as they become available, so check this guide from time to time.
Don't Provide Personal Information Too Soon
Your home phone number and full name provide easy ways to track who you are and where you live.
Armed with just your home phone number, a person can easily gain access to your income information,
home address, and even learn the value of your home. Armed with your first and last name,
a person can do searches to determine quite a bit of information on you - where you work,
what you do, and even what your home phone number is. So in the initial stages of communication,
guard your personal information.

OpenToDate does not verify the accuracy or truth of any information published
by Members. Be careful in dealing with other Members.
Financial Scams
OpenToDate.com monitors suspecious emails that look like a phishing scam or any other type.
Never provide any bank account information to anybody under any reason.
Bloking Members
Should you wish you have the option to 'block' any Member by selecting the appropriate option on their profile.
'Blocked' Members will not be able to contact you via the site.
Reporting Mail Threads
All email threads provide a link to 'block' the sending member and a ink to report the mail thread.
All reports are kept confidential, so use them freely. All reports will be examined and the appropriate memeber banned if deem necessary.
Use Our Mailing System
Our system is designed to be safe and confidential. We will never giveout any email address.
Many scams will send a contact email in an attempt to get a response from the members' email account this
is a sure sign the member is NOT valid.
Member Privacy
OpenToDate will not disclose any personal details supplied by Members that is
not publicly displayed on the Member's Profile, this includes the Member's
name, email address contact details, etc.
